My background embraces work as a public relations practitioner, media strategist, advertising copywriter, journalist and editor for publishers, monthly magazines, online media and agencies.

I am presently freelancing as a journalist/editor/copywriter/communications consultant working for a variety of corporate clients. I have undertaken public and media relations and strategic marketing campaigns across a range of industry sectors including food, entertainment/media, hospitality/tourism, finance, corporate relations, advanced technology/IT and building/construction.

I was formerly employed fulltime as media relations manager at The Armory which specialises in strategic communications, advertising and media relations initiatives and I have since continued this association on a freelance basis, working on major accounts.

As a journalist, I have written on a wide variety of topics, working on Australia’s Top 500 Companies, Australian Technology Review, Jobson’s Year Book of Public Companies, Manufacturer’s Monthly, Australian Packaging, Scarlet Street Magazine of Mystery & Horror and Open House.

I was deputy editor of Food Processor magazine and news editor of Lawyer’s Weekly and have also edited the International Business Journal for the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, Australian Technology Management, Government Equipment News, Process, Impulse Retailing, Contract Catering and Facilities Management and National Canteen Manager. I am currently editor of the quarterly trade magazine Foodservice Rep and its associated publications Canteen and Take Out.
